As part of her residency at SuperOtium, artist Selma Gültoprak presents Little Love Monument, a work born from her collaboration with bond_free. This evocative installation consists of suspended objects—latex harnesses, mouth spreaders, and chains—each carrying a provocative label that reflects themes of transformations and desires. The work emerges from the larger installation Love Monument (for Dominatrix), delving into power, intimacy, and the body’s role as a site of resistance.

The event will also feature the presence and contribution of Lorenzo Xiques Lopez, whose research on counter-narratives and acts of resistance intersects with the themes of the work. His perspective will add another layer to the dialogue on identity, defiance, and the ways in which the real, the unreal, and the hybrid intertwine.

The opening is part of the 2025 cultural program curated by Nicola Ciancio for SuperOtium (a project by Nicola Ciancio and Vincenzo Falcione). This season’s theme, “Ricami”, serves as a metaphor evoking the delicacy and care for what remains after a journey or an encounter.
