Souvenirs, Napoli

SuperOtium 2021’s residency programme begins with Souvenirs, Napoli – Giovanna Silva in dialogue with Lorenzo Xiques from 15 to 28 February.

In order to deepen and return the plural and complex image of a city like Naples through a different point of view than ours, we invited Lorenzo Xiques, curator and queer activist based in Napoli, to invite an artist to dialogue with.

So Lorenzo invited the artist and photographer Giovanna Silva, who, with an exploratory and performative approach, will cross Naples creating her own map. A dialogue between Giovanna and Lorenzo with SuperOtium and the city, the results of which will be presented at the end of the residency.
